Mental health & neuroplasticity.

Every thing supposedly that makes up the you or the me is defined by our thoughts, our dreams, our memories, our hopes, our fears, our skills, our habits, our discomforts and our joys which all stem from the mind & the living latticework of our 100 billion brain cells.

However we have interpreted these experiences & thoughts at the time our nerve cells get specifically arranged & neurologically wired based on these feelings and emotions.

What you need to understand is that the brain is not fixed and these synapses connect and disconnect all the time.

If you have a low sense of self worth or have been on the hamster wheel of experiencing a feedback loop of negative self talk and emotions you need to understand you also have the power to change those feelings and thoughts.

To often we think that the mind is us, it is not. It is a control center for processing information and data and how the body neurologically functions and it creates beliefs based on what the mind tells it.

Self talk, negative or positive constantly reorganises your brain cells in command to those specific thought patterns. If you have a self limiting belief you need to understand its because you put it there, it does NOT make it true.

Forget the notion that the brain is static, rigid, and fixed and you are these feelings. Instead, know that brain cells are continually remoulded and reorganised and YOU have the ability to change those thought patterns.

Your own personal attention really does hold that much power.

Of course through trauma & negative experiences our minds will process that external infliction but you must understand you are NOT the amount of what happens to you, you are the amount that YOU create from within.

Sometimes its hard to dig deep and over rule thoughts of depression or self doubt which is why I mention neuroplasticity.

If its hard for you to overrule those thoughts I invite you to look at it from a scientific approach that the brain is interchangeable from a cellular level out.

Quantum physics also states that the multiple perceptions of our reality are conjured up by the level of consciousness in our mind.

What we repeatedly think about and where we put our attention is what we neurologically become from the endless stimuli in the world and the thoughts we feed ourselves from that level of awareness.

I encourage you to bring attention to yourself & KNOW your self worth, your values, your talents, your unlimited potential and just how insanely special it is that you are here, a human being living on earth.

There can never be another you in the entire history of the universe.

You are extremely important, special and enough. Which is why I address the importance here of mental health.

As we focus on bringing balance into our lives, we equally need to understand that negative self talk, limitations, feeling stuck & having future worries & anxieties do not readily exist until they are conjured up in our OWN mind.

Everything is a choice & the journey, like all journeys of healthy living, body & mind.. starts with you.
